Teacher Word Cloud — Free End of Year Gift From the Whole Class

0Shares

The best teacher gift costs nothing: one word from every student. Collect the words your class would use to describe their teacher, pour them into an apple or heart shaped word cloud, and print it. Free, no sign-up, and ready in minutes — even during recess.

How to make a class word cloud gift

1. Collect one word per student

Ask every student (or parent, for younger grades): “one word that describes Ms. Rivera.” Slips of paper, a group chat, or a quick form all work. Duplicates are gold — if six kids say funny, give it size 10 so it dominates the design.

2. Pour the words in

Click the button above — the generator opens with an apple shape and a starter list. Swap in your class’s words in the Words tab, sizing each by how often it came up. Add the teacher’s name as the biggest word of all.

3. Print, frame, or transfer

Export a high-res PNG for framing or an SVG for Cricut — a class word cloud on a tote bag or tumbler survives the summer better than a card. Transparent backgrounds are supported for clean transfers.

Beyond end-of-year

The same idea works for Teacher Appreciation Week in May, a retirement gift filled with decades of student words, a coach or scout-leader thank-you, or a daycare provider’s goodbye gift. For a more personal shape, use the personalized word art maker to build the cloud inside the teacher’s own name.
