Uses of EPS File:
- You can manipulate colors and shapes individually.
- You can open the EPS file and change the colors of the elements within the illustration depending on your needs.
- EPS files are versatile: Most vector-based design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, CorelDraw, Gravit Designer, and Xara support EPS files.
- You can have embedded previews: You can have embedded preview image in raster format with EPS files. However, it will increase the file size. But you will be able to see what the image looks like even if you cannot open it or edit it in the program you’re using.
- It also supports Bitmap Images, and Text: EPS is a vector file format; however, you can also include bitmap/raster images within the file. You can include a bitmap photograph within the design while creating an image in EPS format. They also support text.
- EPS does not support background transparency
- If you include Bitmap images in EPS fields, you will have issues during printing them as they are not 100% vector images. Bitmaps use specific resolution that is not suitable for printing.
- In Page Layout applications, you will only have access to open and view EPS files. You cannot change details or fill color or text in it.
- Select Open from the dropdown
- Then you need to browse to find and select the required EPS file on your computer.
- Click Open, you can edit the file as required once it is open.
- First click on File
- Select the Open option from the dropdown
- Then you need to browse to find and select the EPS file on your computer.
- Click on the Open option to edit your EPS file.
- Click on File
- Then select on the Open option from the dropdown
- You need to browse to find and select the EPS file on your computer.
- Click on the Open option to edit your EPs file.
- Click on File
- Select the Open option from the dropdown
- You need to browse to find and select the EPS file on your computer.
- Click on the Open option.
- Now you can see the Rasterize EPS Format menu. Click on OK.
